Latar Belakang
Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd. is an 80% owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and 20% by the State Government of Sabah. It is a vertically integrated utility providing reliable generation, transmission and distribution services in the state of Sabah and the Federal Territory Labuan.
SESB is committed to developing the electricity infrastructure in the state of Sabah and the Federal Territory Labuan including the implementation of the Rural Electrification Program.
SESB generates, transmits and distributes electricity. It is the only power utility company in Sabah supplying electricity distributed over a wide area of 74,000 sq.km. As of December 2014, a total of 533,243 of which 83% (442,516) of the customers are domestic customers contributing only 33.2% of the sale in kWh. The SESB installed capacity (excluding IPP) of the Sabah Grid which supplies electricity for major towns from Federal Territory Labuan to Tawau is 448.7 MW and the maximum demand is 830 MW (as of December 2012).

Jabatan Security & Governance
•Plan, implement and upgrade security measures and controls to assist in improving analysis, detection, prevention of security threats.
•Conduct periodic internal and external penetration testing to find any exploitable weakness.
•Conduct periodic network scans to find any vulnerability.
•Manage, monitor and administration of security systems, i.e. - intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewall,proxies, etc.
•Develop and carry out information security plans and policies.
•Develop strategies to respond and to recover from security breaches.
•Lead incident response team towards investigation of security breaches.
•Project handling from pre to post implementation.
•Perform Proof of Concept (POC), product evaluation and testing of theoretical designs.
•Prepare various reports - maintenance,inventory, incidents.
•Conduct awareness training on information security standards, policies and best practices.
Jabatan Corporate System & Solutions
•Responsible for the development,implementation and monitoring of SESB computerized application systems.
•Ensure all business applications being developed in accordance to the development methodology and ensure applications is delivered on time, thoroughly tested.
•To prepare User Acceptance Test (UAT) documents, provide UAT facilitation, training documents and end-users training.
•Troubleshoot, analyse, define and implement solutions relating to bugs, change request and enhancement.
•Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
•Project handling from pre to post implementation.
•Perform Proof of Concept (POC), product evaluation and testing of theoretical designs.
Prepare various reports - maintenance,inventory, incidents.
•Conduct awareness training on information security standards, policies and best practices.
