Positions:
1. RISK MANAGEMENT MANAGER
Job Description:
- To assist Department Head in ensuring quality reviews/developments/implementation of Risk lending guidelines to support business strategy.
- To prepare a report and perform a credit risk review of Guarantee and Financing schemes (post-approval review) for the senior management, committee and Board for their notation/deliberation.
- To maintain and review Credit Frameworks and policies that are aligned with the credit risk strategy direction of corporation from time to time.
- To assist in the identification of potential process gaps and to propose credit risk initiatives to ensure portfolio health and to strengthen the retail or credit risk policy framework
- To conduct reviews and extend credit risk advisory on any new/variation of business and regional proposals.
- To facilitate discussion with business, credit and risk governance in drafting retail or regulatory response or proposing resolution for review by Department Head.
- To perform any task assigned by the Department Head.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Banking or equivalent.
- 8 years working experience in Credit Risk Evaluation/Risk Management, preparation of management credit committee report or related field. Expected credit knowledge (MFRS 9) and SCEL
- Certified bank risk professionals such as BRM would be and added advantage.
- Good leadership/managerial/interpersonal skills, self-motivated and results oriented
- Possess strong analytical and communication (both written and verbal) skills, particularly in the English language.
- A team player with ability to work with minimum supervision, possess good interpersonal skills and initiative.
- Computer literate.
- Contract position for a period 1 - 2 years with opportunity to be absorbed as permanent staff.
