The Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council (MREPC) was incorporated on 14 April 2000 under the Companies Act 1965 as a company limited by guarantee to undertake the market promotion of rubber and rubber products in the world markets, particularly in support of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
MREPC is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities.

Responsibilities:
Ensure development of plans, priorities, performance measurements, management controls and critical success factors
Steer the organisation of local and overseas team towards the achievement of its organisational goals
Develop and maintain key stakeholders relationships
Demonstrate experience of formulating effective strategies to enhance competitiveness and growth of industry
Ensure highest standard of internal control and adherence to SOP and best practices
Good knowledge and experience in rubber and rubber products industry would be a distinct advantage
Qualifications/skills:
Possess tertiary education, preferably a Masters degree in Business Administration/Economics/Marketing/Management
Demonstrated track record in strategic management
Previous senior management experience with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of the rubber and rubber products industry, global markets and relevant industry trends
Knowledge in public sector administration and policy formulation is an added advantage
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
