Job Description

Responsible to operate all operations and maintenance activities for ENZ unit towards achieving best practices and operational excellence. This includes planning, executing and developing a highly competent and motivated workforce so as to achieve high quality of services and provide highest network availability & reliability, timely service fulfillment and effective service assurance in meeting customer needs and expectation. 

Area of Responsibilities
  1. To plan and manage corrective & preventive maintenance programs.
  2. Power related issue, Access Network Element, Copper Access Network, Fiber Access Network, Trunk and Junction Cable Network towards achieving fault free network.
  3. Timeliness in order to minimise downtime and ensure high service availability of network.
  4. Initiating Corrective and Preventive action on any problem escalated by both NOC and local PTTs.
  5. Ensure team adherence and proper RR (Rakan Rangkaian) supervision as accordance to Contract Management towards achieving high-class of vendor delivery.
  6. To ensure adherence & compliance towards contract requirements.
  7. To propose for diversity & contingency for areas involve in road diversion or upgrading or any network threat by collaborating with AND Development.
  8. To verify handover of new migration project AND.
  9. To ensure scrap of equipment/cabinet when replaced with new is properly handled and demolished upon migration and new installation.
  10. To achieve team productivity on par as targeted and to achieve all KPI derived under ENZ is as targeted.
  11. To get involved in Quality Taskforce in order to improve service delivery and assurance cycle time.
  12. To ensure ISO & OSH compliances and other quality initiative to warrant continuity of quality improvement.
  13. To escalate to respective Executive or supervisor should there be any major faults / network breakdowns at the supervised area.
  14. Provide full support to other units, i.e. SDZ, JCC, CNZ and LOBs.
  15. To ensure that provided Tools and Test Gears and all equipment's are in good condition and ready for use.
  16. To ensure that the workplace (office space, node, cabin) and TM transport is clean and in good condition by carrying out 5S activities.
  17. To provide other required reports of work activities when required.
  18. To perform Site Survey as ENZ Supervising Officer (SO) for WOI creation.
  19. To assign tasks to the capable Contractor RR based on remaining contract terms ceiling / sufficient workforce capability.
  20. To ensure WOI is created prior to contractor assignment.
  21. To ensure PR / WOI / eWOMS released by the ENZ Executive.
  22. To verify that works are being carried out accordingly as per WOI issued.
  23. To perform any other tasks as per instructed by respective Executive or supervisor when required.
