About Us
The group has a humble beginning way back in 1978 when the then young and enterprising Dato (Dr.) Hussamuddin Bin Hj Yaacub started his small publishing business in a shop lot to produce his first ever product, Mingguan Kanak kanak. From then on, through perseverance, passion, sheer determination, hard work and vision, the company has grown to what it is today .
Being in the publishing business, growth and expansion within the realm of publishing, printing and intellectual products seemed to be a matter of course for the group. In 1990, through Alaf 21 and Karya Bestari, the group started to print novels and books of various genres. Subsequently, in the same year, through Ultimate Print and Dasar Cetak, the group’s foray into the commercial printing business started.
Growth and success tryst within the group. Like all success stories, leadership and vision to see beyond played pivotal role in the group. The need for a newspaper that is both neutral and independent in its reporting amidst a curtailed media landscape saw the birth of Sinar Harian in 2006 – the first state customized national newspaper. With a 38% growth in readership in 2012, Sinar Harian is the fastest growing newspaper in the country.

Jawatan:
1. WARTAWAN (SINAR ISLAM PLUS) - KONTRAK
Bidang Tugas:
- Menyunting, menterjemah dan menulis artikel berkaitan islamik
- Berhubung dan bekerjasama dengan penulis dan penyumbang luar.
Kelayakan:
- Berumur 23 hingga 35 tahun Kelulusan minimum Ijazah/Diploma Sarjana Muda dalam bidang agama Islam seperti Usuluddin, Syariah, Fekah, Tafsir, Sains Hadis dan Dakwah atau dalam bidang Kewartawanan dan Penyiaran.
- Mempunyai pengetahuan di dalam agama Islam yang luas dan mendalam. Boleh membaca dan menulis di dalam bahasa Arab dan menterjemahkannya kepada Bahasa Malaysia atau Bahasa Inggeris.
2. IT EXECUTIVE (TECHNICAL)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building, maintaining and administering computer networks
- Responsible to support end-users on networking issue.
- Providing support on hardware and software for PC and Machintos
- Ensuring smooth server operation, desktop availability and uninterrupted data communication.
- Implementation and deployment of latest hardware/software.
- Upgrade network environment and implementation of better management of devices.
- Resolving IT technical dificulties and to liaise vendors when necessary.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, ICT or related.
- Minimum 1 year working experience in the related field.
- Experience in Technical & Helpdesk Support.
- Familiar with installing and configuration of Windows / Mac PCs.
- Knowledge in setting up LAN/WAN, Anti Virus and Outlook email client
- Knowledge in backup & recovery procedure.
- Able to interact with end-users.
3. UI/UX PROGRAMMER
Job Description:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with clients and relevant parties through stakeholder interviews.
- Investigating user experience design requirements for client’s suite of digital assets.
- Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive Iu/UX design strategy for client’s brand.
- Producing high quality UX design solutions throug wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboard, site maps and prototypes.
- Designing UI elements and tools such as navigations menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
- Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
- Collaborating with the marketing teams, and internal graphic team to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
- Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX and predict user bahavior.
- Adhering to style standards and user experience strategy on typography and graphic design for web and mobile products.
Requirement:
- Qualification: Diploma or Degree in IT / Computer Science, Creative Design or any relevant diciplines.
- Experience: 2 years experience in related field.
- Knowledge: Knowlegde in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrato, associated design or any related.
- Competencies: Problem solving, decision making, communication & interpersonal skills, able to communicate with teamwork and end user, independent, resourceful,commited, able to work in limited direction and guidance.
