Positions:
1. SENIOR EXECUTIVE (NETWORK DESIGN ENGINEERING)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Participate actively in the improvement of customer experience by planning, designing, and deploying high-quality network solution and services to ensure customer satisfaction in Sarawak Energy
- Manage and maintain the documentation of network architecture
- Lead requirement gathering activities and develop network design solutions
- Participate in network implementation projects and works
- Work closely with the project team and internal ICT Operation staff to ensure smooth transitioning of services from projects to operation by proper knowledge transfer and handover.
- Reports to Head of Network Design Engineering Section
SPECIAL ASPECTS/MAJOR CHALLENGES OF THE JOB
- Analyzing and translating business requirements and objectives into implementable ICT network solutions.
- Identifying, evaluating, and recommending new innovative ICT network applications/infrastructures that can meet future business needs.
QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering / Computer Science / IT / Computer Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of working experience in ICT or related area including 3 years in enterprise ICT network infrastructure
SKILLS
- Proficient in network management skills especially in monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration
- Technical skills in designing, planning, and deployment of LAN and WAN network functions including switches, routers, VPN, wireless, NMS, and network security, etc.
- Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Basic knowledge in ICT architecture concepts and development approaches.
