Sejarah

Sejarah berkembangnya AIM berkait rapat dengan penubuhan Bank Grameen. Sejarah bermulanya Bank Grameen adalah apabila Dr Muhammad Yunus, Pensyarah Ekonomi di Universiti Chittagong Bangladesh menjalankan kajian pada tahun 1976 mengenai golongan miskin yang jarang melibatkan diri dalam dunia perbankan.

Daripada kajiannya mendapati golongan miskin ini tidak berupaya untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka adalah kerana tidak mempunyai modal yang mencukupi. Oleh itu, Prof. Yunus mencadangkan bahawa jika golongan miskin ini diberi suntikan modal pada masa dan situasi yang betul pasti akan dapat membina sebuah pembangunan yang pesat.

Jawatan:

1. AMANAHRAYA TRUSTEES BERHAD OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT 1 – GLOBAL TRANSACTION SERVICES UNIT


Objectives Of Position:

Ensure the operational functions of the Global Transaction Services Unit relating to the company’s trusteeship for unit trust funds are managed and discharged effectively.


Responsibilities Of Position:

1. To prepare and ensure the execution of instructions for trades settlement.

2. To prepare and ensure the execution of instruction for fund transfer and foreign exchange transactions.

3. Monitoring Corporate Action Entitlement and any tax and audit matters.

4. To prepare and ensure the submission of Quarterly Report to Bank Negara Malaysia.

5. To prepare and ensure all instructions related to Subscription & Redemption of units, Money Market and Investment in Private Equity; and

6. To check daily payment listing and to monitor and effect the adjustment in the back-office system.


Qualification / Experience:

Ø Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Study/Economics and other courses from a recognized university/college.

Ø At least two (2) – three (3) years of working experience with Trust Company and/or relevant experience in Capital Market or investment will be an added advantage.

Ø Well versed with industrial practices with experience in settlement process especially for foreign investment.


Professional Skills/knowledge:

Ø Able to convincingly communicate with all levels of people

Ø Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Ø High interest in relevant local and international capital market and banking industry

Ø Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook

Ø Meticulous, organized and detail-oriented

Ø Possess good interpersonal skill
