We also register prospectuses of corporations and funds, approve corporate bond issues and regulate corporate mergers and acquisitions. MARKET AND CORPORATE SUPERVISION
1. ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
To lead and supervise the conduct of surveillance over PLCs to enhance public confidence in the quality and reliability of financial statements and corporate disclosures.
Incumbent will also be responsible to provide tactical direction and guidance on financial reporting standards related matters.

CORPORATE FINANCE & INVESTMENTS
1. SENIOR MANAGER
Conduct review, assessment and monitoring of MIS matters, including regulatory framework, proposals and compliance reviews, to promote market integrity, build investor confidence and develop a quality Malaysian Capital Market.
2. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
To provide administrative and secretariat support for the department, to ensure timely dissemination, keeping proper records and filling of department’s documentations and correspondences.
GENERAL COUNSEL
1. ASSISTANT MANAGER/ MANAGER
Formulate and review capital market laws regulatory framework and policies to provide advisory support on assigned projects to ensure regulatory objectives under the Capital Markets and Services Act are met.

2. ASSISTANT MANAGER/ MANAGER
Provide legal advisory services to ensure that legal and reputational risks to SC are eliminated/minimized and actions taken are able to withstand legal challenge.
Conduct legal review in specific areas and recommend with consequences including risks on matters referred to by line departments to facilitate decision making and to minimise risks exposure to SC’s interests.
Collaborate with external counsel in judicial review cases and other cases involving PLCs that have regulatory implications to ensure integrity of SC’s decisions & recommended legal strategy are protected.
Undertake extensive research and analysis as part of policy formulation and review for the development and enhancement of relevant policies and guidelines.
INTERMEDIARY & FUND SUPERVISION
1. SENIOR EXECUTIVE
Conduct on-site examination on Market Intermediaries (SBCs & FBCs) to ensure that their operations and business conduct comply with the relevant securities laws, rules, regulations and guidelines, have adequate system of internal control, risk management, and are in accordance with best practices.
Conduct research and analysis on trades or securities transactions to ensure that they are in agreement with the legislation, regulations and practices and to highlight best practices and clarifying grey areas of market practice in relation to market conduct issues
