Positions:
1. SENIOR EXECUTIVE (MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS & BUDGET)
Scope:
Responsible annual budget and periodic segmental financial report for hotel and commercial assets performance report.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, coordinate and analyse hotel, commercial asset segmental and Group Opex financial report as per required format (MMR, QMR and YPER), including service cost to ensure value-added to support plant managers on any cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop, plan and coordinate hotel segment and properties segment annual budget to ensure completeness and reasonableness are measured, this including collating data from the budget owners and performing analysis in finalizing the financial budget.
- Develop, plan and coordinate annual budget for Group Opex and analyse departmental Opex to maintain control of expenditures.
- Perform monthly Opex cost monitoring to ensure the Group Opex cost optimisation.
- Produce subsidiaries Quarterly hotel segment board paper for immediate superior review.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties on the accounting and financial issues whenever required.
- Act as a Finance representative to evaluate bidders’ mandatory financial ratio and highlight if there are any financial concern and going concern of the bidders.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, preferable ACCA, CIMA.
- Have at least 5 years of working experience in finance and accounts.
- Possess excellent analytical and interpersonal skill and knowledgeable in applications of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
- Experience in property development industry or Audit Firm is an added advantage.
