Taking off from just the coil spring – Sapura Industrial has since expanded its business to include the manufacture of high value-added machined engine, transmission & brake components as well as stabiliser bars and chassis module assemblies for the automotive industry and cold drawn high-grade structured steel bars used in the automotive, electrical & electronics industries.
As the business expanded in tandem with Malaysia’s automotive industry, Sapura Motors Berhad was established in 1994 and subsequently listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in 1997. The Company was transferred to the Main Board in 2004 and renamed Sapura Industrial Berhad, to reflect its diverse business activities.
