Jawatan:
1. ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE, REGULATORY
Job Responsibilities:
- To provide assistance to the complaint officer in managing, recording, and updating complaints received (either from the public or complaint channels) on the commission of offenses under the Law.
- To ensure the complaints system is updated within the timeline stipulated.
- Plan, identify and provide assistance to enforcement officers in conducting activities and exercises such as preparing statement recordings, audits, raiding, surveillance, and other activities related.
- To ensure all reports and related administrative works after enforcement activities are recorded and updated.
- To work additional hours or vary working times to suit the needs of the service.
- Plan, identify and provide assistance to the compliance officer in conducting activities and exercises such as audits and other activities related.
- To work additional hours or vary working times to suit the needs of the service.
- Work closely to support the function of SRCD, ElD, and the Consumer Protection Dept.
- Assist the officer to plan and coordinate the routes for the drive test team to conduct measurement of network quality for cellular coverage.
- To ensure the safekeeping of all documents and assets in accordance with the 5S method.
- Prepare status updates and achievements for all initiatives.
- Compiled and maintain all related records in the database.
- Assist to participate/attend/support all cross-functional assigned within numerous sections/branches.
- Assist to participate/attend/support all programmes/events organized by other section within the state office / HQ or other external parties.
- Official photographer and editor.
- To be able to use and operate spectrum monitoring tools such as the NASMOC, drive test tool, and other portable monitoring equipment.
- To undertake any ad-hoc task and assignment from internal and external stakeholders.
2. EXECUTIVE, NETWORK SECURITY MANAGEMENT
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement network security operations activities via MCMC Network Security Centre (NSC), to manage and address network security threats and incidents affecting Malaysia's network environment.
- Implement assessments and continuous improvements initiatives on Information Security Management System (ISM) and Business Continuity Management System (BCM), to strengthen security posture and readiness among MCMC licensees.
- Implement assessments and continuous improvements initiatives for Critical Information Infrastructure (CID, to strengthen security posture and readiness among the CII operators and installations.
- Implement security monitoring, assessments, and continuous improvements initiatives for National 5G implementations, to strengthen security posture and readiness among 5G players.
- Contribute and facilitate Technical Codes development via MTSFB Working Group, to strengthen information and network security technical framework in Malaysia.
- Serve as one of the sectoral contact points on national framework and directives relating to national and cyber security, to ensure smooth coordination with various agencies and stakeholders.
- Implement capacity building program in the areas of network security, to strengthen security posture and readiness among the various stakeholders.

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is entrusted with the role of promoting and regulating the communications and multimedia industry and to enforce the communications and multimedia law in Malaysia. Our primary role is to implement and promote the Government's national objectives for the communications and multimedia sector.
MCMC also oversees the new regulatory framework for the converging industries of telecommunications, broadcasting and online activities, in accordance with the national policy objectives set out in the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA), as well as postal services and digital certifications.
