Job Summary:

To design, develop, implement, and be responsible for all aspects of the digital learning content and technology projects for MCMC Academy and advice on the emerging Educational Technologies (EdTech) integration into our internal and external capacity-building programmes to enhance learners' learning and engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and oversee digital learning and technology projects to support and with an in-depth understanding of digital learning adoption for capacity and capability development programmes offered by MCMC Academy.
• Conduct vendor management and vendor relationship which include vendor performance, project reporting, price, and service negotiation.
• Develop mandatory interactive eLearning courseware and update and manage Learning Management System (LMS).
• Conduct eLearning completion tracking and reporting and provide consultation.
• Develop and review MCMC Academy content videos.
• Manage and administrate contents in MCMC Academy Microsite.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable emerging educational technologies for implementation for MCMC.
• To produce good storyboard and develop interactive eLearning preferably via Articulate360 prior to development of the courseware through instructional design.

Qualification & Work Experience:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in the related field.
• Familiar with training, instructional design and development functions.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles.
• Knowledge of multimedia design and development process.
• Has experience working with cloud-hosted or on-premises Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Well experienced with Microsoft 365 tool.
• Ability to use creative design tools and eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, and Adobe Captivate.
• Basic/Intermediate knowledge in video production skills (with experience in pre, during and post-production with using video editing tools such as Filmora, and Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Knowledge and experience in IT systems, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality or similar applications is an added advantage.

Note: Job position is 1-year contract and is subject to renewal for an additional year if required.

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is entrusted with the role of promoting and regulating the communications and multimedia industry and to enforce the communications and multimedia law in Malaysia. Our primary role is to implement and promote the Government's national objectives for the communications and multimedia sector.

MCMC also oversees the new regulatory framework for the converging industries of telecommunications, broadcasting and online activities, in accordance with the national policy objectives set out in the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA), as well as postal services and digital certifications.
