Sejarah

Sejarah berkembangnya AIM berkait rapat dengan penubuhan Bank Grameen. Sejarah bermulanya Bank Grameen adalah apabila Dr Muhammad Yunus, Pensyarah Ekonomi di Universiti Chittagong Bangladesh menjalankan kajian pada tahun 1976 mengenai golongan miskin yang jarang melibatkan diri dalam dunia perbankan.

Daripada kajiannya mendapati golongan miskin ini tidak berupaya untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka adalah kerana tidak mempunyai modal yang mencukupi. Oleh itu, Prof. Yunus mencadangkan bahawa jika golongan miskin ini diberi suntikan modal pada masa dan situasi yang betul pasti akan dapat membina sebuah pembangunan yang pesat.

Jawatan:

1. EXECUTIVE


Objectives Of Position:

Ensure the operational functions of the Settlement Unit relating to the Company’s trusteeship for unit trust funds are managed and discharged effectively and efficiently.


Responsibilities Of Position:

1. Ensure all transactions are inputted correctly into back-office system and transactions recorded in payment vouchers, TT letters, cheques, money market letters, letters to ADI and counterparty.

2. Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in payment listing / cashflow before forwarding to the Fund Manager.

3. Ensure proper monitoring of fund’s current account have sufficient balance by end of business day including monitoring purchase of shares.

4. Inputting transactions into back-office system according to the Fund Manager’s instruction which includes purchase of shares, creation & cancellation of unit, money market transactions, miscellaneous payments and setting up new security & new scheme into Master Setup Module in back-office system.

5. Prepare payment vouchers and TT Letter / cheques and confirmation letter to counterparties for money market transactions which include getting signatures from authorised signatories, faxing instructions to banks and/or send cheques at Level 2 for collection / mailing, prepare payment listing / cashflow and fax to fund manager on daily basis and proper filing the documents.


Qualification / Experience:

1. Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Study/Economics and other related courses from a recognized university/college.

2. At least two (2) – five (5) years of working experience with Trust Company and/or relevant experience in Capital Market or investment will be an added advantage.

3. Well versed with industrial practices with experience in settlement process especially for local investment.


Professional Skills/knowledge:

 1. Able to convincingly communicate with all levels of people

2. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia

3. High interest in relevant local and international capital market and banking industry

4. Proficient in Accounting

5. Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook

6. Meticulous, organized and detail-oriented

7. Possess good interpersonal skill
