Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad is an investment holding company. The Company operates in two segments: Port operations and Bulking services. The Port operations segment is engaged in port services and construction services, including construction of port facilities, handling of cargo for liquefied natural gas, petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gas, general cargo, container, dry bulk cargo and other ancillary services. Positions:

1. SYSTEM ANALYST (RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT)

Job Description:

• Handling the entire development process of either new or current technologies and programs related to Information Technology
• (inclusive of conducting research, planning and implementation) within and into an organization, from the initial planning phase to implementation or production.
• These research and development endeavors shall ensure Group’s is up-to-date and current with the most Information Technology (IT) development.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software from a recognised institution;
• Minimum three (3) years in related fields inclusive of knowledge in Information Technology, Programming, Software Engineering and Computer Science;
• Any working experience in the related field, research and development on IT is an added advantage;
• Knowledgeable in software development fundamentals and software development lifecycle (SDLC);
• Good communication skills with good command of English (spoken and written particularly in technical conversations); and
• Willing to travel and work on weekend, public holidays and odd hours when required.
