Positions:

1. SENIOR EXECUTIVE, INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible in industrial relation issues, direct communication with employees & external authorities and ensure the implementation of guidelines provided by the authorities.
  • Develop the best policies to enhance the organization human resources and ensure the effective implementation for all employees.
  • To lead and supervise in the following functions i.e Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, employee welfare, and related group Human Capital initiatives or projects.
  • Ensure the legal compliance by monitoring and implementing the guidelines provided by the Malaysia authorities.
  • Lead in the documentation of Employee Handbook, IR and all Human Capital policies, work instructions and ensuring audit compliance.
  • Provide advice, support and guidance to all Head of Departments to increase the effectiveness of daily operations.
  • Lead the entire grievance process through proper channels and ensure all grievances are amicably settled.
  • To provide consultation and/or handle employee relations, industrial relations matters, grievances under IJN group.
  • Responsible for the welfare of employees.
  • Manage and upkeep industrial relation framework and formulates strategies and provides direction in industrial relation practices.
  • Provides advice and directions on complex IR cases and the organization’s overall IR practices.
  • Advises the organization on labor-related regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Champions initiatives to expedite IR cases and grievance handling.
  • Provides guidance on IR cases and recommends appropriate disciplinary actions for major and minor cases depending on facts/precedents/domestic inquiry outcomes.
  • Evaluates information and interprets laws, regulations & practices. Plans & implements industrial relations initiatives or issues.
  • Applies/incorporates knowledge of industrial relations laws/labor-related regulatory requirements in managing industrial relations issues and cases to ensure full compliance.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law or Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum 5 years working experiences.
  • Strong knowledge in Employment Act, Industrial Relation Act, and other related employment laws.
  • Specializing in Human Resources, IR/ER or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with people of different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Able to work independently, assertive, practice, self-driven with strong organizational and analytical skills.
