Job Descriptions
1. Technical Services
Provide product technical services support in the areas of lubricant application, product advisory, product specifications, test methods, handling, storage and repackaging in supporting sales team.
2. Product Field Trial
Develop, implement and monitor field trial run on the identified lubricant; analyse oil analysis data to gauge equipment and lubricant performance to reduce risk prior to full scale implementation and use the findings to produce business support tools eg. proof of performance, benefit report and testimonials.
3. Customers Complaints Resolution
Investigate and resolve all customer complaint timely to maintain customers’ confident level towards PETRONAS lubricant products brand promise by identifying root cause, providing prudent and efficient technical advice.
4. Technical Canvassing
Provide technical advisory to all sales channels in identifying, canvassing and propose product recommendations to new customers to increase business growth and sustaining the existing one.
5. Product Training
Plan and conduct product knowledge for customers, sales channels and staffs to create awareness and confidence in using PETRONAS lubricant products, reduce risk of product misapplication and utilizing the most cost-effective product (fit-for-purpose).
6. Product Quality Audit
Implement quality audit at warehouses and supply points; recommend corrective actions and ensure all the gaps identified closed to safeguard product quality of all PETRONAS lubricants.
7. Technical Visit
Identify and resolve any technical matters promptly, gauging customers' satisfaction on PETRONAS products, opportunity to introduce/explore new product range and provide added value services eg. product handling and advice on house-keeping.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum) from recognized university or institution.
2. Good leadership capability with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry.
3. Knowledgeable in petroleum industry, automotive lubricants & specialty products applications.
4. Sound knowledge in principles of fuel and other petroleum products.
5. Preferably Certified ICML Machinery Lubrication Analyst (MLA) Level II and/or Level III.
Functional competencies:
1. Possess good management, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills in dealing with internal and external customers.
2. Possess basic knowledge in automotive and industrial segments, blending plant, warehouses and retail station operation.
3. Possess sound knowledge in petroleum industries.
