Positions:

1. MANAGER, DESIGN

Product Research/Development
  • Provide design concepts and prepare efficient building plan guidelines by applying knowledge of design, building materials, engineering elements, and construction procedures, zoning and building by-laws.
  • Gather product input from Marketing & Sales.
  • Prepare design briefs, specifications, materials, colour, estimated costs and a comprehensive work program.
  • Propose Architect and other related consultants for appointment to Management for approval.
  • Arrange the design concept and building layout for approval to the Development Committee.
  • Coordinate input from appointed Planners, Architects and other related Consultants to streamline the planning design and development concept.
  • Monitoring design optimization with the budgeted cost.

Building Plan
  • Partake consultation with Local Authorities (LA) and Technical Department (TD) on the submission requirement
  • Review all LA and TD requirements incorporated in the building plan before submissions for approval.
  • Assist with the submission of the building plans and monitor the approval by Authority.
  • Follow up with LA and TD to ensure early approval of the building plan.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Tender Drawings by the consultant architect.
  • Coordinate preparation of Sale and Purchase plans and schedules as stipulated in the standard agreement.

Feedback on Building Design
  • Conduct periodic inspections to ensure construction works are in compliance with specifications, approved quality of materials, working method statement and to advise Project Management personnel on the results.
  • Gather building design feedback from Quality Assurance, Project Management and Marketing & Sales.
  • Analyse data from the building design feedback.
  • Provide consultants’ performance for Quality Assurance.

2. SENIOR MANAGER, RISK MANAGEMENT

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Group-wide implementation of ERM Policy and Framework to support the achievement of the company's strategic objectives and to provide assurance to the Board, management and stakeholders.
  • Assist the Board and Management Committee in the implementation of the objectives outlined in the ERM Policy and Framework.
  • Acting as central contact and guide for ERM issues within the Group.
  • Coordinating the issuance of group-wide uniform ERM standards, combined with the authority to set guidelines with the approval of the Board and Management Committee.
  • Developing and updating the ERM manual records/risk registers and database (or system) at the Group level after consulting with the Board and Management Committee.
  • Documenting the risk register at the Group level.
  • Assist the Board and Management Committee in reviewing and updating the existing risk profile (at least four times a year).
  • Assist the Board and Management Committee in reviewing the status of the completion of action plans and be responsible for ensuring that all action plans are acted upon and addressed accordingly.
  • Aggregating the Group’s risk position for yearly reporting to the Board and quarterly reporting to the Board and Management Committee on the risk situation/status.
  • Compiling ERM and risk information (compile for Board and Management Committees).
  • Responsible for preparing Risk Management reports for submission to the Board and Management Committees.
  • Provide information to Board and Management Committees through Risk Management reports.
  • Assist Board and Management Committees in preparing Risk Management reports for submission to the Board.
  • Identifying and communicating to the Board and Management Committees the critical risks (present or potential) at the respective department, their changes and the management action plan to manage the risks.
  • Reviewing and updating the risk management methodologies applied at the relevant departments, specifically those related to risk identification, measuring, controlling, monitoring and reporting.
  • Reviewing board papers on proposals to check if key risk areas are identified and considered, including the remedial action/contingency plan should the risk materialise.
  • Leverage best practices to ensure the relevant and appropriate controls are in place to support the Company’s operations and business strategies.
  • Conduct and coordinates risk training/risk awareness programs across the company.
  • Be aware of the current risk management best practices in the industry.
  • Advising the senior management and Board of Directors on the current risk management best practices in the industry and emerging risks and trends in the industry.
  • Provide necessary feedback/briefing of the changes in the industry to the Senior Management and Board of Directors.
  • Continuous improvement of Risk Management Framework.
  • Provide advisory support on ESG matters and understanding of TCFD guidance.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting/Actuarial Science/Finance/Business Administration/Economy with specialization in Risk Management or equivalent qualification from recognized universities.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience/exposure in Risk Management.
  • Experience in handling risk framework, policies, procedures, processes, Governance, Integrity and ESG for a public listed company is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, leadership skills and stakeholder management.
  • Good presentation and report writing skills.
  • Professional Risk Manager certification may be beneficial.
  • Experience in the Construction and/or Property Development industry is an added advantage.
