Positions:
1. EXECUTIVE, TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT (TQM)
Job Purpose:
1. Execute & Support implementation of Continuous Improvement initiative (KAIZEN) company wide.
- Co-facilitate in providing the consultation on continuous improvement project to participating teams/staff.
- To prepare the report on status & progress of the continuous improvement initiative of all participating teams/staff.
- Follow up with participating teams/staff on the deliverables submission and ensure all are within the deadline.
- Provide requested information on time to all the participating teams/staff throughout the project's journey.
- Prepare all the necessary arrangement for project evaluation i.e. documentation, booking of venue, food & beverage, equipment & tools etc.
- Other relevant task whenever it is required.
2. Execute & support the implementation of 5S initiative company wide.
- Provide periodical support to all Kilang Beras BERNAS (KBB), BERNAS/Warehouse (BW) and Enabling Divisions/Department in implementation of 6S activities.
- Facilitate any relevant 6S activities at site which require TQM expertise in its implementation i.e. Red Tagging, 6S Big Cleaning Dat etc.
- Conduct periodical 6S activities to KBB, BW and Enabling Division/Departments.
- Prepare the 6S Evaluation report and buy off all the 6S Evaluation finding with the respective Mill/Warehouse/Department/Division Head.
- Follow up on the actions required due to any 6S Non-Conformance and ensure everything is completed with the deadline.
3. Conduct the training on TQM Program.
- To deliver the training on TQM Program to all BERNAS staff.
- Meet certain targeted training session to ensure all staff are equipped with the knowledge in order for them to inculcate the TQM practices into their day to day job.
- Prepare the training evaluation report to measure the training effectiveness.
- Conduct field study and sufficient research to enhance the training module to ensure all current needs are being addressed well in the module.
4. Support all promotion activities to create sufficient awareness about TQM Program to people across the organization.
- Execute all relevant promotion activities to create sufficient awareness on TQM initiative among BERNAS staff.
- Involve in all event, road show, campaign, briefing etc. to spread the information on TQM Initiative to BERNAS staff.
- Design & develop multiple mode of communication i.e. email, poster etc. to share updates and upcoming to TQM's event to all BERNAS staff.
5. Other Activities.
- Provide support in any other activities which relevant to TQM scope of work whenever it is required.
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum a Degree holder in related field.
2. Minimum three (3) years working experience in similar filed.
3. Strong understanding and familiarization of Total Quality Management initiative and its implementation company wide.
4. Skills in depth knowledge of Total Quality Management initiative.
5. Skills in depth Knowledge in Kaizen and problem solving methodologies, QC tools and techniques and PDCA concept to facilitate and consult the participating teams/employees.
6. Good leadership skill.
7. Strong facilitating and consulting skills to coach the participating teams/employees at all level from data gathering to completion.
8. Work both independently and as part of a team to plan & implement the initiative on a project or day to day basis.
