Jawatan:
1. ENGINEER, PROJECT M&E (CONTRACT)
Department : Facilities & Infrastructure
Section/Unit : M&E Facilities
Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform/review engineering design, documentation and implementation of Inspection, Assessment, Isolation, Installation Testing & Commissioning, Rehabilitation, Reengineering, Refurbishment, Renovation, Upgrading & Improvement and Project Creation inclusive Technical Advice & Opinion to meet regulatory & statutory, engineering, functional and operational standards relating to Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Project.
2. Supervise the Inspection, Assessment, Isolation, Installation Testing & Commissioning, Rehabilitation, Reengineering, Refurbishment, Renovation, Upgrading & Improvement and Project Creation inclusive Technical Advice & Opinion to ensure works relating to Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Project are performed to specification within the stipulated time line.
3. Coordinate, verify and submit Technical Report & Condition Assessment relating to Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Project to superior for endorsement and implementation.
4. To complement the responsibility of other stakeholders in OSHE, ERM, ISO, ISPS, BCM, DRP, ABMS & Energy Management.
5. To efficiently utilize resources within Project Unit to achieve the targets in the established SOP.
6. To plan, monitor and execute Electrical and Mechanical Projects to ensure assets sustainability as well as reliability.
7. To mitigate downtime and reduce disruption to operations activity due to project activity.
8. To provide evaluation, recommendation & justification for Project works for Management decision & approval.
9. To plan, monitor & supervise cost saving initiative through Project activity.
10. To coordinate the overall function and responsibility of the Competent Supervising Engineer, Energy Manager, Engineers, Technical Manager, Technical Executive, Chargemen, Technicians and Wiremen.
11. To maintain WBS and release works in SAP System.
Job Requirement/Competency:
Educational/Professional Qualification:
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Registered with BEM as a Graduate Engineer.
Relevant Experience:
1. Minimum five (5) years working experience in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering designing and Project Management.
2. Experience and knowledge in electrical system from High Voltage (HT) 33V to Low Voltage (LV) 415V works.
3. Incumbents from the Electrical Engineering Consulting Firm are encouraged to apply.
4. Strong project technical and design knowledge.
5. Good supervision and project management skills.
6. Excellent with local codes and authority submission procedures.
7. Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skill.
8. Being a Professional Engineer is an advantage.
9. Experience in General Electrical Engineering Works and Port & Harbor Engineering.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project Management.
2. SENIOR CLERK, REGULATORY AFFAIRS
Department : Stakeholders Management
Section / Unit : Regulatory Affairs
Job Responsibilities:
1. To gather and compile all relevant inputs, records, statistics, reports, and documents relating to the Regulatory Affairs function in safely and properly manner.
2. To assist in liaising and following up with the internal stakeholder in gathering input as well as compiling documents for the purpose of compliance to the Privatisation Agreement.
3. To observe and ensure all regulatory requirements that provided or covered in the SOP are fully complied with by the respective internal stakeholders.
4. To facilitate and assist all engagement programmes with the stakeholders to ensure smooth sessions without any disruption.
5. To carry out all administrative functions among others to draft letters, email, Minutes/Notes of Meeting, filling, scanning sending all required and requested documents.
Job Requirement/Competency:
Educational/Professional Qualification
• STPM / SPM / SPMV
Relevant Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in clerical and related field. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Attributes)
• Good computer skills with functional working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Able to communicate and drafting the letter/email to the internal department and Penang Port Commission and/or other appropriate government agencies.
Leadership Behavioral
• Able to manage and resolve any conflicts, claims and/or disputes;
• Excellent communication skill and able to express all instruction/ commands;
• Good negotiation skill.
