Positions:
1. SENIOR EXECUTIVE - GROUP TREASURY & TAX DEPARTMENT
The Job:
- Responsible for the overall UDA Group’s payments and transfers of funds via Maybank2E Cash Management System and cheques.
- Responsible to monitor UDA Group’s bank accounts balances.
- Prepare Bank Guarantee requests.
- Monitor all UDA Group’s investments in fixed deposits, conventional/Islamic money markets funds to ensure UDA Group obtain best rates of returns.
- Assist to ensure all bank loans interests are paid within the stipulated deadline(s).
- Assist to ensure all inter-company loans/advances are recorded properly with all necessary documents are in place.
- Assist to prepare UDA Group’s cashflow positions.
- Assist to journalise all relevant transactions in the S.A.P. systems.
- Manual filing of all payments, transfer of funds and Bank Guarantees requests documents.
- Attend customers requests on payments’ status.
- Liaise with bankers, internal & external auditors, tax consultants and company secretaries, other authorities, whenever necessary.
- Assist and undertake any ad-hoc duties assignments instructed by Superiors.
The Incumbent:
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years working experience within related field.
- Candidates with working experiences in accounting firms, banking industries, investment funds companies are encouraged to apply.
- Possess strong work ethic – ability to work hard, have high goals and respond well to stretch goals from superior.
- Dependable – consistently following through and show commitment to complete tasks on time.
- Possess positive attitude in workplace
- Self-motivated – working effectively with little direction and able to work alone with minimum supervision.
- Must be team-oriented, have good interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel.
- Effective communicator with proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Flexible – willing to pick up new skills and adjust to shifting goals.
- Experience in rolling out of SAP System will be an advantage.
- Meticulous, good analytical skills and problem solver.
2. UDA PROTÉGÉ - READY TO WORK
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree Holders in a related field (Recognized by MQA).
- Above 18 years old and currently is UNEMPLOYED.
- Willingness to work in different subsidiaries within the UDA Group.
- Strong interpersonal skills, motivation to learn, and pleasant personality.
Program Benefits:
- Duration: 8 months program (including 2 weeks soft skill training)
