1. PAYROLL CLERK
Description:
Main duties of the position:
1. Employment
• To open file for new staff and ensure that documents are complete (as per checklist)
2. Payroll
• To check and process staff’s overtime claim
• To process and check monthly pay, bonus and etc
• To prepare report on payroll , overtime and headcount
• To process payroll for termination/resignation of staff
• To do backup on payroll
• To print pay slip
3. Statutory matters
• To prepare and ensure the payment is made within the date line, such as EPF, Socso, Tax, HRD Corp, ASB , Tabung Haji and etc
• To handle staff’s Socso claim
• New staff registration for EPF, Socso,Tax
• To compile all statutory correspondence
• To prepare and check the EA form for staff
4. Employee Data
• To key in new data for new employee into the systems and update their personal data and employment status as when required
5. Others
• To update staff’s personal file
• To prepare staff strength report to
• To attend to staff request relating to reference letter, open bank account (new staff), tax and etc
• To assist other HR staff when required and do other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
