Positions:
1. PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for administering requisitions, processing orders, tracking deliveries and handling payment requests through the e-procurement system or conventional methods. Also accountable for tasked with analyzing and identifying competitive bids by conducting thorough comparisons, evaluations and analysis of received bids. This role involves monitoring the execution of purchase orders by Suppliers, Works Contractors and Service Providers in coordination with User Departments for Goods, Supplies, Works and other Services, with a budget limit of up to RM500K.
Tasks:
- Learn, manage and familiar with our daily procurement activities, processes, procedures and related systems, such as SAP and Procurehere;
- Administer requisitions to ensure all purchases are completed in a timely manner;
- Prepare and issue orders, administer deliveries and process payments;
- Monitor, maintain and update/track receiving and related documents;
- Source service providers from the vendor database or open market as appropriate for the requisition;
- Maintain and update lists of suppliers from time to time;
- Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships, and keep up good communication (e.g., assisting with the registration of suppliers and conducting Vendor Onboarding Sessions);
- Assist in analyzing Vendor Performance (Vendor Performance Report) and Vendor Satisfaction annually;
- Report on daily, weekly and monthly activities;
- Ensure planned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met;
- Assist in establishing new standards or revising existing operating procedures;
- Liaise with user departments/requesting departments and suppliers, works contractors or service providers on delivery schedules;
- Perform any other pre- and post-contract/order functions, duties and responsibilities as delegated from time to time by the Head of Procurement and/or Head of Division in consistency with the role.

Requirements:
- Recognized Degree in Quantity Surveyor or its equivalent;
- At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in Purchasing or Procurement.
- Proficiency in the use of SAP software and the MS Office suite including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia is required;
- Excellent report writing, presentation and public speaking skills are essential;
- The candidate should possess good leadership attributes and be energetic;
- Being self-motivated, analytical, resourceful and having strong integrity are important qualities; and
- A good working attitude and willingness to travel are expected.
