The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is the governing body of Asian football and one of the six Confederations making up FIFA.

Formed in 1954 in Manila on the sidelines of the second Asian Games, the AFC was sanctioned by FIFA in Berne, Switzerland on June 21 of that year.

Positions:

1. TEMPORARY STAFF - FINANCE


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in processing payments to vendors.
  • Ensure invoices are properly recorded in the MYOB/ERP system.
  • Ensure that all invoices are accompanied by supporting documents and forwarded to the related department for verification.
  • Process payments via MBB online and/or cheque.
  • Responsible for systematic filing of Finance Department correspondence, bank advice, statements, faxes, receipts, and other financial documents.
  • Coding and maintaining a proper record of bank transactions (RM/USD) and recording the transactions in the system.
  • Responsible for checking the payment advice for all payments made by bank transfer.
  • Performing reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are taken up in timely fashion and ensuring payments made are cleared from the statement of accounts from vendors.
  • Preparation of accounting documents such as letters, faxes, reports, financial statements, and receipts, among others.
  • Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance or related fields.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Knowledge of MYOB system.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude, self-motivated, team player, able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
