Mission (Sources of Values)

To grow the expected value returns from international asset investments by assessing and developing strategic financial and commercial initiatives within the assigned TNB international portfolios.

Accountability & Responsibility

• Establish and periodically assess Strategic Asset Allocation strategy, targets and tolerance and execute rebalancing exercise as well as provide advice on financial resources allocation for new/existing assets
• Monitor and drive portfolio financial performance and enhancement through evaluation and reporting of key portfolio Red Flags, risks, opportunities and areas for improvements
• Monitor areas for portfolio/asset improvements via operational improvement, asset/corporate restructuring or financial reengineering/debt refinancing
• Manage Red Flag Reporting which includes periodical evaluation of individual asset performance to provide insights on potential long term and short term threats to facilitate Division’s risk monitoring process and drive business excellence as well as maintain focus on business priorities
• Establish, manage and maintain Division Performance Measurement Framework and Division Consolidated Financial Model (FM)
• Stress testing, accuracy and relevance of Financial Model of Asset Management team and validating value creation plan and timeline
• Provide accurate and updated information for stakeholder communication and reporting including TNB Board of Directors, top management, other divisions, Bursa and media
• Manage comprehensive research to develop robust and consistent metrics, inclusive of lead and lag performance indicators, in which will provide effective and consistent tracking of Division Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
• Develop, monitor and maintain effective and accurate Division reporting dashboard including financial reporting, KPI reporting, risk reporting, in which enable consistent tracking of Division performance against target
• Manage the development of Asset Under Management (AUM) methodology, data input validation and calculation
• Assist in the development of Strategic Portfolio Management Framework
• Assist in information system development including Cloud Update
• Execute strategy and transaction, provide advisory on Special Situation and any related tasks/projects as instructed

Education

• Degree or professional certification in any accounting and financial related fields e.g. Finance/Accounting/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics
• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)/Masters in Business Administration (BA) /Finance/Financial Management/Economics/Statistics or any related field is an added advantage

Experience Requirements
Possess at least 2 years of working experience in financial modelling of portfolio of assets, following experiences are added advantage:

• Experience in financial and commercial due diligence of power assets
• Experience in data analytics
