Position:
1. IT EXECUTIVE, OPERATION SERVICES
The Job:
- Responsible as a project engineer for operational system project and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of the system to ensure proper and smooth installation, testing, and commissioning by contractor according to GMB requirements.
- To provide system support to user in the day-to-day operations of the server/system to ensure the smooth operations of the system uptime.
- Check and monitor the installation of system data and output to ensure the data installation by contractor is correct.
- Coordinate training, coach and motivate GMB personnel on operational system to ensure staff are well trained and motivated to perform effectively.
- Develop, contribute, and maintain system standards installation and configuration procedures to ensure updated GMB system manual and guideline for a smooth and efficient operations.
- To propose, develop and implement new system and enhancement of existing system to improve GMB efficiencies and update the system to latest, trend, standard and requirement.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Engineering/Network Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 1 years working experience in server, network management and system development.
- Basic knowledge and skill in gas distribution system and Control System i.e., SCADA.
- Basic knowledge of gas business especially in operation and maintenance of gas facilities.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Good communication and analytical skill, initiatives and able to work independently.
