Jawatan:
1. CLERK, CUSTOMER SERVICE
Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage and attend to customers’ enquiries in professional and courteous manner by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem.
2. Conducting customer survey by collecting their feedback through Passenger Survey Form and expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
3. Cooperate with other service operator and government agencies such as Tour Agent, Tourism and other relevant parties as to ensure the smooth terminal operations and to maintain adequate stock of tourist collateral and the necessary information related to on-going offers and promotion, tourist information and other services at the customer service desk.
4. Monitor the cleanliness in the terminal by monitoring the cleaning services provider by the cleaning contractor including reports and attendance.
5. Manage entrance fees collection including public liability insurance for ship chandeliers.
6. Assisting administration task including compile payment invoices, monthly report (survey forms, machinery, etc), monthly schedule, attendance and overtime
Job Requirement/Competency:
Qualification, Skills & Experience
• SPM with minimum 2 years working experience in similar field.
• Any qualification(s) in related field is an added advantage.
• Customer Service oriented.
• Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office and report writing.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pursuant to the privatisation agreement dated 31st December 1993 (“Privatisation Agreement”) entered between the Government of Malaysia, Penang Port Commission (“PPC”) and Penang Port Sdn Bhd (“PPSB”), Penang Port shall operate, manage, provide operational facilities, and port services in the Port of Penang to control, maintain, construct, improve, and develop the Port commencing 1st January 1994.
Penang Port houses a plethora of services, lending itself well as a multipurpose port that provides unique value towards the growth of industries in Penang. Being situated in Penang is also a major game-changer, as Penang is strategically linked to the Indonesia – Malaysia – Thailand Growth Triangle (IMTGT).
