Jawatan:
1. RCAC MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER
Designation : RCAC Maintenance Controller
Department : Security & Emergency Services

Job Responsibilities:
1. To ensure Remote-Controlled Aerial Craft (RCAC) flight operations and repair & maintenance program must strictly comply with all related laws & regulations, statutory requirements.
2. To involve in performing hazard identification, risk assessment & risk control (HIRARC) for every flight, mission planning & completion, review HIRARC based on near miss incident, accident (RCAC crash, mid-air collision, missing in action, injury, casualty and property damage) and data gathering.
3. To study, understand and execute in a safe manner of the requirements stipulated in the RCAC Operations Manual, RCAC Maintenance Manual, Guideline on Permit & License Application to the Authority and Manufacturer Manual for Aircraft, Equipment Software.
4. To assume responsibility as RCAC Competent Office for Flight Technical Operations & Site Safety involve in daily flight planning, execution of operations & reporting (routine & ad-hoc), ensuring public safety (life & asset) during flight operations and timely-reporting of near miss incident & accident (RCAC crash, mid-air collision, missing in action) in compliance to the RCAC Operations Manual as to ensure safety, productive and efficient resources utilization in meeting the expectation of internal stakeholders.
5. To execute the periodical maintenance program (preventive/breakdown/predictive) & periodical testing program for aircraft, payload, signal & communication equipment, ground control station & software, RCAC related equipment and 24/7 uninterrupted power supply to Penang Port Air Unit – (RCAC Command Centre) as to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft, safety of RCAC pilot at site, smooth flight operations, systematic RCAC spare inventory management, readiness of RCAC equipment and well functioned of RCAC Command Centre facilities in compliance to the RCAC Maintenance Manual.
6. To troubleshoot on-the-spot challenges as they arise in a timely manner.
7. To participate in continuous testing & reliability program for aircraft, payload, battery, motor, software and signal, communication & video system and other related equipment.
8. To undergo a periodical competency development program (technical skill & soft skills) for RCAC Maintenance Controller.
9. To keep abreast of technology advancement and thorough understanding of the technical specification, capabilities and limitations of RCAC, payloads, software, communication and related equipment.
10. To involve periodical RCAC emergency exercise for simulation of near miss/accident and missing in action situation.
11. To participate in Penang Port fire drill joint exercise between OSHE, Port Police, Port Fire & Rescue and Marine Services.
12. To involve in RCAC Quality Assurance periodical auditing.
13. To involve in RCAC safety matters and participate in Flight Safety Investigations Team.
Job Requirement/Competency:
Qualification, Skills & Experience
• Diploma in Engineering (Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic) (Accredited by MQA).
• Drone/UAV manufacturer training certification (Pilot/Maintenance).
• Minimum 3 years working experience.
• Experience in handling UAV/RCAC for industrial purpose.
• Experience in mechanical/mechatronics engineering works.
• Knowledge in Operation Management and Crisis Management.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
