Job Description:

(a) Training & Development
  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) through job task analysis, performance appraisal, etc. with regular consultation and follow-ups with departments, branches and employees;
  • Ensure employees complete their Learning and Development Plans (LDPs)
  • Organise internal training programmes i.e. Induction, knowledge-sharing sessions, in-house workshops, etc.;
  • Organise and administrate training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery;
  • Coordinate external or public trainings i.e. initiate, request approval, register and inform staff;
  • Evaluate training and development programmes i.e. prepare evaluation report for in-house training, induction training, etc. as required;
  • Monitor and report all training activities, costs, etc. as required;
  • Process all training related payments i.e. invoices
  • Keep accurate training records that are comprehensive and up-to date;
  • Handle enquires related to staff development programmes;
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with the procedures as given in the Staff and Organisational Development Manual; and
  • Advice and support the Manager and Head of Human Capital towards the general Human Capital Department activities as required
  • Liaise with Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) for matters related to Training Grant Application, Claim and the E-Tris platform and prepare the HRDF utilization report.

(b) Documentation of Manuals
  • Assist in the establishment of standard working templates;
  • Conduct adequacy check on policy and procedural manuals to ensure compliance; and
  • Keep proper records and files in respect of all manual documentation activities.

(c) Others
  • Perform any other ad-hoc and related duties, as may be required by the management; and
  • Develop self and maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times.

  • Possess a Degree or its equivalent preferably in Training & Development, Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mass Communications or any other relevant discipline from a recognized University/College.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Good Communication skills both verbal and written e.g. Public Speaking, Presentation skills.
  • Energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others.
  • Personally credible with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills.
  • Integrity and approachability.
  • Good Credit Report.
