Position:
1. MANAGER (INTERNATIONAL STRATEGIC)
INTERNATIONAL OFFICE
Requirements:
• A Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum Degree in any field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactively employ strategic and critical thinking in solving issues and challenges. Independent, self-motivated, and driven to deliver results.
• Energetic and able to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
Responsibilities:
• Creating short, medium and long-term core global strategies in elevating the reputation, profile and branding of UNITEN at the international level that will increase the university’s comprehensive global standing through a comprehensive approach of all of the university and the whole nation capitalization.
• Engage and increase international media coverage and presence (both in official and social media) in putting UNITEN in the regional and international spotlight, especially in higher education, critical research and new energy impact.
• Increase recognition and achievement at the global rankings in various platforms through a holistic parameter setting in the different indicators and factors of ranking assessment.
• Enhance research and innovation performance and recognition at the global level through strategic partnerships with key critical institutions and capital funding with future-driven strategies on the right targeting and partnerships.
• Increase the number of inbound international human capital, including students and academic and non-academic staff and researchers, in elevating the international capacity and expertise and output.
• Creating impact-based medium and long-term returns to the university’s increased international profile and recognition through both measurable and non-measurable assessment of outcome in the numerical and projected positive impact of non-measurable impact.
• Creating a new image and pulling factor in making UNITEN the preferred and premier energy institution in establishing new ventures, capital inflow, research capacities and as a hub for new energy and power referral point that will have a direct impact on future national strength and capability.
• Establish new growth parameters and avenues in non-energy and other arenas of academic and non-academic excellence and development that will have the potential to empower UNITEN at the global level, especially in gaining investment returns and in increasing worldwide awareness and potential
for a positive ripple effect in downstream opening.
• Produce periodical strategic reports and assessments on past, current and future trajectory of achievements and potential, and strategic action plans and time-based measures to address critical challenges and future suggestions and solutions to problems.
• Strategic and future-driven mapping, targeting and maintaining academic, professional and industrial tie-ups and collaborations with new world-class experts, new institutions and new countries and regions that are critical in energy and power potential.
• Strengthen and elevate UNITEN’s status as the premier energy university in the country and the region through international profile and recognition with an integrated and encompassing approach in having country and region-specific strategies and long-term action plans that are tailor-made to each country and region.
• Leading and managing an effective, productive and highly motivated and capable team in working across dimensions, affiliations and departments in achieving the intended objectives of internationalising UNITEN and putting UNITEN on the world map.
• Create a new communication, marketing, branding and engaging platform in effectively influencing, reaching and resonating with key target groups and segments, including the youth, professionals, industry experts, institutions, government institutions, global and regional institutions and others in establishing effective and impactful communication and outreach tools.
• Create dedicated and specific task forces in addressing each critical internationalisation progressive parameter, which will include the right human capital, departments and other supported platforms in achieving and addressing different priorities and shortfalls of global recognition and internationalisation agenda.
• Represents UNITEN and participate in forums and related meetings/committees relating to
strategic matters to promote the university.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the top management.

2. EKSEKUTIF, KAMPUS SULTAN HAJI AHMAD SHAH
Requirements:
• A Malaysian citizen;
• Bachelor Degree in Business Admin / Management or equivalent in related discipline with at least CGPA 2.70 and above or 2nd Class Upper.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications;
• Mature, diligent, conscientious in meeting deadlines and able to work independently with minimum
supervision and under pressure;
• Good customer service skills, positive and responsive attitude, skilled in analyzing and using data is an advantage;
• Age 30 years old and below.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the arrangement and attending internal and external meetings, when required.
• Assist in all administrative duties, inclusive of reports, documents and presentation materials.
• Manage day-to-day administration operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
