Positions:
1. BILLING ASSISTANT
Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Computer literate
Job Description:
- Perform all types of billings including debit notes, credit notes, invoice correction and billing adjustments.
- Deliver accurate and timely billing for the business customers while improving customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all discharge bills are printed and is ready for settlement daily in accordance to the set KPI.
- Liaise with relevant departments where further details and clarification are needed.
- Work closely with the inter-department team to ensure all deliverables are captured correctly as per the requirements.
- Resolving invoice rejection issues by clarifying with the requestor and, if necessary, issuing a credit note
- Support the month-end close of books in a timely and accurate manner.
- Able to meet demanding deadlines
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records.
- Attend to incoming telephone calls.
- Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time.
2. CASHIER
Requirement:
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Computer literate
Job Description:
- Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients.
- To prepare and present bills to our inpatients and outpatients daily.
- Patiently and professionally explain the bills in detail to ensure that patients understand each charge.
- Collection and deposit of all payments received from all payors and patients.
- Process all forms of payments received from all payors and patients in a timely manner.
- Maintains proper security of cash at all times.
- Assure that the overall charges posted and payments collected tally with the system.
- Reconciling posted and received payments with accounting.
- Work with other departments and areas on any issues related to payment questions.
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Keeps cashier counter work areas neat and tidy at all times.
- Ensure good housekeeping at the cashier's counter and lobby area.
