Positions:
1. QUALITY ASSURANCE EXECUTIVE
Description:
1. Develop, coordinate and drive quality plan and objectives during new model development for Quality Department by studying customer product requirement, performance standard, technical and documentation studies.
2. Monitor supplier progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems among customer, internal & supplier in Quality department during series development.
3. Coordinate internal readiness, review and prepare all related documents during annual IMS audit and customer audit in Kulim Plant.
4. To lead or support supplier audit as and when needed.
5. Appointed as internal auditor for quality management system and process audit accordance to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
6. Assist customer audit as per schedule (VDA 6.3 Process & 6.5 Product Audit, BMW PSO Audit).
7. Develop and maintain the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) in accordance to customer standards requirement.
8. Execute and lead the improvement activities including Digitalization, Correction Action, Prevention Action, 5S, for internal Quality Department.
9. Responsible for quality performance and development of local supplier and CKD supplier
a. Issuance of Problem Solving Report (8D)
b. Analysis and identify risks of quality, monitor and follow up improvement activities including Correction Action and Prevention Action by local and CKD suppliers.
c. Complete monthly supplier quality performance and ensure on-time submission to Supply Chain department.
10. Responsible and leading the Quality team for BMW & Porsche operation
a. Root cause defect analysis and ensure corrective actions / preventive actions are robust for continuous improvement
b. Analyze, monitor the quality rejection trend and present report during Monthly Quality & Delivery Performance meeting
c. Ensure compliance of process in accordance to the control plan, standards and SOPs established.
d. Complete Monthly Progress Report (MPR) and ensure on-time submission.
e. Monitor and communicate thoroughly with related BMW and HBPO representative on rejections claim and replacement part status in the ORCAN system.
f. Establish, monitor and review Coordinate Measuring Machine report in compliance to customer requirement and standards.
g. Establish, maintain and review rework SOPs and procedure activity as per standard requirement when needed.
h. Monitor on quality-related key performance indicators including the Supplier Quality Management, In Process Quality Control, Product and Process Audit.
i. Monitor on the stability of process by executing analysis of statistical process control
j. Communicate and maintain good rapport with customers, suppliers and internal department.
k. Update and analysis of documentation in compliance to Integrated Management System (IMS) of the company
l. Arrangement of manpower planning and working schedule, assess manpower skills and provide necessary internal training to develop multi skill level operator for Quality Department.
m. Monitor daily transaction job in the SAP system and communicate to IT department for any arising issues.
n. Lead and control to ensure the disposal activity for scrap parts conducted in compliance to customs regulations.
11. Responsible for the on time calibration of jigs, CF, tools and equipment in KLM plant.
a. Prepare and monitor monthly calibration schedule
b. Communicate with related supplier and prepare related documentations i.e. Purchase Requisition, Bid Waiver or Management Approval Paper
c. Maintain, verify and update calibration status and certificates for all tools and equipment
12. Collect, review and analyze ESS submission for Quality Department in Kulim plant for continuous
13. Lead as facilitator in Innovative Creative Circle for Kulim plant.
14. Prepare and issuance of Purchase Requisition, Management Approval Paper or Bid Waiver as and when required.
15. To perform and assist any job assigned by the Manager as and when needed.
16. To commit towards company Integrated Management System (IMS).
