Positions:

1. ASSISTANT MANAGER - INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS (IR)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Handle full spectrum of IR/ER related tasks in disciplinary matters, counselling, grievances handling, labour disputes and termination/dismissal for several bakery plants;
2. Conduct investigations and written show cause sessions;
3. Conduct Domestic Inquiry sessions;
4. Perform other administrative functions;
5. Provide advice and guidelines on IR-related matters to all levels of employees to ensure compliance with the Company’s policy, rules and regulations;
6. Analyse employee attendance to observe disciplinary issues i.e. absenteeism/late coming/fraud;
7. Assist IR Manager with cases referred to the Labour Department/Labour Court and Industrial Relations Department/Industrial Court;
8. Handle documentation and matters related to hostel agreements;
9. Handle issues related to Medical Leaves and Panel Clinic matters;
10. Other assignments/job functions assigned from time to time.

 

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Human Resource or any related field
2. Minimum 4 - 5 years of work experience in Industrial Relations
3. Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken 
4. Possess skills and knowledge in handling IR matters
